15 years ago, Richard Zananiri was co-founding & shredding hard for UK Metal Monsters Sylosis!
Then, after the prisms of time turned & that thing called “life” kept happening, Richard found himself unexpectedly, yet very successfully, working in software.
A familiar story shared by many, fast forward 15 years...
The Global Covid pandemic reared its ugly head & in the process, cancelled nearly all of Richards highly demanding work/travel commitments.
It was at that very moment, Persephone’s Last Breath was born.
A new musical project brewed over a steamy cauldron of bucket list style thrash riffs, the origins of which influence the success of some of today’s biggest bands.
After receiving glowing feedback from some of the Metal scene's biggest names & securing the world-famous mastering services of Ermin Hamidovic, Richard’s vision has now taken album form.
